The Coaching Process

Making a change in your life can sometimes require courage and determination. It can involve dealing with the opinions and emotions of friends, family and colleagues and can lead to feelings of confusion, isolation, fear and uncertainty. These unpleasant feelings often make us choose the easy option; the path of least resistance. We continue to live a life without conflict but soon find ourselves feeling unfulfilled, bored or even depressed. Does this sound like your story? Perhaps things are going well for you but you’re unable to make an important decision. You might even be dreaming of achieving a life-long ambition and don’t know where to begin.

The coaching process will provide you with a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental setting to explore your situation. From the very first session you will be able to talk about how you’re feeling and what you would like to achieve. Thinking things through during your coaching session gives you the freedom to explore your options without hearing someone else’s point of view. Our discussion will explore how achievable your goal is and, by the end of your first session, you’ll have a clear path to get you moving forward. Each session will build on this progress. The aim is to get you feeling that you’re back in control as soon as possible.

You’ll have the permission you’ve been looking for to change, and the support you need while you put your ideas to the test. You’ll also learn some tools and techniques to make things easier and, most importantly, you will have an agreed time frame to complete your actions – what better way to ensure that things get done.
